The designer whose printed pieces have garnered a contingent of celebrity followers marked the two-decade milestone at Lakme Fashion Week winter/festive 2019 with a collection titled Gypsies and Bohemia. On a mosaic runway, Singhal not only sent out her signature silhouettes like dhoti pants, cropped lehengas and co-ords but also bomber jackets, deconstructed blazers and cholis paired with light layers. While finishing touches came in the form of twirl-friendly tassels, patchwork and pom-poms, the varied palette borrowed hues from the bustling bazaars of Turkey and Morocco.
