We don’t know about you, but we’ve been keeping a close watch on the wardrobe of the Duchess as she pays her royal visit to Pakistan. What she’s been wearing is nothing short of what we’d like to call the masterclass in modest traditional dressing. We’re referring to her choice of the coolest kurta sets, meticulously tailored and featuring bandhgalas, fully concealed sleeves, relaxed, lengthy and Anarkali silhouettes drenched mainly in the aquamarine colour palette, complete with dupattas. Some would even say that her outfits were heavily borrowed from that of Lady Diana’s – we’re still meditating on that, but for now the point we’re trying to make is that Middleton’s traditional looks come just in time for the approaching festive season, serving us a fresh new mood board of outfit inspirations. Now, if you’re thinking that her ensembles are too high brow to recreate, let us stop you right there. From the limitless ethnic collection on our website, we sieved out the chicest pieces that could easily belong to Middleton’s Pakistani (and Indian) dress code. We recommend you keep the accessories to the minimal and swap your Indian add-ons for contemporary ones for maximum impact. Scroll down to find our favourites…
