Extending the same philosophy of design to her latest collection, Door Of Maai brought to the runway – easy, summer-ready pieces featuring dainty trims, fine laces and Victorian undertones.

Replacing often-used organic cottons and khadi, the label made use of the TENCEL™ fibre – an extremely clean and sustainable alternative. Inducing effervescent colour-play of white-on-white and beige-on-beige lace work interspersed with feminine and voluminous cuts and silhouettes, this collection featured clever hand-embroidery, classic pin tucks, pleats and angular lace inserts. Subtle shades of rose and sandstone gold on the otherwise bare face and neatly tucked florals over loose tousled hair lent finishing touches to this dreamy Victorian-era inspired collection.
