“I visited Japan early April when the cherry blossoms are known to reach peak bloom. Packing for my holiday was a little tricky because I was told that the weather oscillates between sunny and chilly and even rainy. How I tackled that was by taking pieces I could layer depending on what the day threw my way. I carried lots of light jackets, camisoles and white shirts (I have a weakness for them!). For the two weeks that I was there, I lived in my white sneakers. Not only did they go with everything but also saw me through the countless treks to temples. Another accessory that I swore by was my crossbody bag – it leaves your hands-free to capture the Sakura-filled gardens and sample the many delicacies the country has to offer.” – Neharika Manjani, Fashion Writer

“Celebrating Christmas in London has been my wish since I was a little kid and that finally came true in December last year. Winter was in full swing towards the end of December, but London weather is always unpredictable! I remember looking at the weather forecast app for the next 10 days while packing my outfits. I carried two fur jackets for extremely chilly days. For rainy weather, I carried pretty pastel tops, pullovers/light jackets, scarves and trousers in different colors. I also carried 3 pairs of shoes – sneakers for long walks around the city, pretty ballet flats for fun night-outs in London and brogue shoes for a more put-together look. I carried one sling bag and had a trusty leather backpack for shopping around the city and posing under the beautiful Christmas lights on Oxford street!” – Karen Jophy, Senior Marketing Executive

“Whenever I get a long weekend I try to squeeze in a short trip to Goa. From the food to the beaches to the night markets, it’s the perfect getaway at an arm’s length from Mumbai. Packing for this trip is always interesting as I keep in mind how the outfit would look on my Instagram feed (I’m obsessed!) That’s when I take out all my boomerang-friendly kaftans and crochet coverups that I think will look amazing against the beach and shack backdrop! When it comes to accessories, I tend to gravitate towards bright and bold earrings and easy pairs of slip-ons or flats. According to me, there are no rules when it comes to dressing for the beach but I do end up reserving all my crazy cut-outs and back-baring dresses for the shores!” – Hrishitaa Sharma, Assistant Marketing Manager

“I travelled to Dubai recently and the one thing I found difficult was finding clothes that were both suitable for the warm weather and were statement making at the same time. How I found that balance was by packing clothes in breathable fabrics but with dramatic detailing. And of course, I couldn’t go to Dubai without packing for the after-hours.” – Tanvi Koshy, Social Media Executive.

“I was in Berlin for the last two weeks – just exploring the western part of Europe. I think my biggest challenge was the weather – during the day it was warm, but the nights would hit sub-zero temperatures. Luckily though, I love layering and stacking, so I packed a bunch of of statement jackets that are easy to throw over light pieces which not only look stylish but also serve a utilitarian purpose. For my days out around the city, I carried bombers and cardigans. For the nights, I packed winter jackets to combat the chilly weather. Additionally, I took some transitional pieces that I could create multiple looks with – this really took the weight off my luggage. For finishing touches, I carried minimal accessories like layered necklaces, hoops etc to amp up my looks round the clock. Lastly, I threw in a pair of sneakers for good measure.” – Akshita Singh, Stylist.
