You know how you have wedding gift registries and Secret Santa wish lists that you can share with your friends and family? For convenience sake, don’t you wish you could have those for every occasion where gifts are to be exchanged? Well, we’ve curated one for Raksha Bandhan because while we believe that surprises are a good thing, when it comes to brothers, we think they could get by with a bit of help from their sisters. Below, we asked five Nykaa Fashion staffers what they would like to be gifted this year and they answered. Here’s a peek into their wish lists.
“I’ve had my eyes on these products for a while and given the chance to pick for Raksha Bandhan, these were easily on the top of my list. I’ve been crushing on a bunch of Kolhapuri’s from Gush but I think these clear ones from their latest collection work best for the monsoons. Also, the earrings from Rhmmya that I have selected are a versatile, dainty option which can complete my look for any kind of occasion, be it wedding or dinner.”

“Not a brother but my sister and I celebrate Raksha Bandhan with each other and I fully trust her to gift me separates because she’s been my shopping partner for so long (especially when we travel overseas) and she knows exactly what I like. Blazers are going to be a huge trend come fall so I’m looking forward to adding this navy blue one in my wardrobe. That and the black denim dress are my favourites. I’m so excited to see what she picks for me from this list!”

“I tend to lean towards traditional styles that I can wear on repeat and I’ve had these pieces on my wish list since the past few months. Right from the peacock stud earrings from Ahilya Jewels to the juttis from Pastels & Pop, they’re all pieces I know I can style in multiple ways and wear multiple times! Brother, I hope you’re taking notes and thank you in advance.”

“Dresses might not be the most giftable items, but my brother knows I’m a sucker for`them and he knows my size too! So I’ve picked two options that I could wear casually to the beach or on a vacation (They’re my favourite places to be). I also love being gifted accessories because one can get so much use out of them. I’m adding this bracelet from House Of Bio and these flats from Preet Kaur to my wish list as I love my bracelets stacked and my shoes open-toed.”

“Not sure if I should be revealing this but my brother playfully calls me panda because according to him, I’m lazy when it comes to helping him out, so I think he would be more than happy to gift me these panda earrings from Zohra which I must admit are very cute! I also don’t mind the panda ring from the label. Additionally, I’ve picked this ethnic set from Masaba because Ganesh Chaturthi is followed by Raksha Bandhan, so receiving an ethnic outfit as a gift would prove extremely useful.”
