If there existed an award for the most discerningly-dressed judges on television, Shilpa Shetty would win it – without a doubt! Case in point- her kitschy ensemble worn for a Super Dancer 3 episode that set the new rules of dressing up for summer festivities. While we admit that this was not the first time she made a statement in an Arpita Mehta outfit, her choice to go bright and bold all at the same time was what stood out for us. She donned a hot pink co-ord set that featured a tiered maxi kurta paired with bandhani printed palazzo pants from Mehta’s latest collection. The tasselled kurta was belted at the waist to accentuate Shetty’s sculpted built making for an outfit that would look equally good at your best-friend’s mehendi and a music festival! To dial up the drama, she accessorized the look with oversized drop earrings, stacks of statement cuffs and a supersized ring to match. Her luscious locks were given breezy beachy waves and her face was contoured to perfection with a matching pink pout. Our biggest takeaway from this look was that moving beyond the light layers and sorbet hues of summers has its own advantages – beautiful, extremely chic advantages!
