Bendre, who was diagnosed with a high-grade cancer last year, has since been religiously chronicling her battle through her social media accounts. Now cancer-free and back to the base, she has been spotted out and about, participating in various conferences and discussions about her challenges and coping mechanisms with the life-threatening disease. One such panel discussion took place at Bangalore with Film Critic Rajeev Masand, where Bendre spoke about her battle with cancer on a mental and physical level. While she deeply empowered us with her share of life lessons, she also served some serious outfit inspiration! She looked sharp in a kaleidoscopic basil pantsuit from Masaba’s Resort ’19 collection that featured Gupta’s signature deer forest print. She completed the look with red strappy sandals, coin-sized hoops and a nerdy pair of spectacles – let’s just say, we now have a new-found way to pull off a laid-back yet chic look for formal events or even the boardroom!
