Basu might not make public appearances ever so often but when she does, she makes sure she gets noticed with her sharp sartorial sensibilities. This time around, she was spotted in a white jumpsuit from an emerging evening wear designer – Swatee Singh. Now, if you’re wondering what’s so ground-breaking about that, let us tell you that the jumpsuit in question was more statement than simple – it featured an elaborate ruffled panel running all through the front and back with a belted waist – making it a compelling addition to a fashion girl’s after hours wardrobe. Balancing out the plunging neckline with shoulder-grazing danglers and impeccably coiffed hair, Basu was a vision in white. The oversized ring and layered bracelets added to the oomph of the ensemble. She kept her face au naturel with slightly accentuated eyes and a glossy lip.
