While I’ve resorted to embracing the sweatpants life during this lockdown, I can’t seem to scroll through my Instagram feed without seeing some seriously cool looks. From celebrities to my friends, it seems that everyone has decided to dress up despite having nowhere to go. Feeling left out, and considering that my outfit choices aren’t doing much for my productivity levels, I decided to join in and ask some young designers on Nykaa Fashion how they are dressing. Scroll down to see their style and shop it.

For a usual day spent at the office, I would dress up more formally, typically choosing a printed and collared shirt over smart-casual trousers. While, for a day at the factory, I would lean towards fit and function, opting for loose shirts paired with joggers or leggings. My WFH look is a cross between the two. I choose to go for smart dressing waist up and comfortable for the bottoms. Generally, this would comprise printed shirts and micro pleated blouses over satin pyjama trousers or joggers. – Saaksha Bhat of Saaksha & Kinni

So, I’ve relied on The Jodi Life’s selection of shift dresses, that are super comfortable and easy to wear for the entire day. The roomy fit makes it a fuss-free piece and it proves to be a great alternative to wearing sweatpants all day. – Karuna Laungani, The Jodi Life

For me, when working from home, the attire should be simple and stylish. Being a designer and a sustainability enthusiast, my clothing choices reflect just that. I particularly love garments crafted from natural fabrics, as they feel soft and cool against my skin, making it my go-to choice for days spent working from home. Additionally, I prefer loose-fitting clothes as they are good for blood circulation. These days, I’m partial towards black linen pants paired with a cotton schiffli crop top. Most times, I try to dress in bright colours from the waist up, as it makes me feel more energetic and happy during this situation. – Radhika Malhotra, Satat
