Gaya is a fashion brand that has been coined from the combination of the name of the Creative Director – Gayatri Khanna and the Greek name ‘Gaia’- the Goddess of the Earth. The brand draws inspiration from nature, the earth, and flora and fauna. The brand was launched at Lotus Makeup India Fashion Week spring/summer 2021.
The brand caters to all, with chic feminine designs, striking, vibrant prints and innovative ornamentation for ladies, urban and sophisticated trends for men, and a new and fun look for kids. This is the brand’s USP, combined with a contemporary colour palette. A modern, fresh, vivid label that makes a powerful statement, to sum up the brand’s spirit.
Masks were in high demand when Khanna decided to create Gaya. Their goal was to provide discerning clients with high-quality designer masks that not only kept them safe but also made them feel good. The masks were only a glimpse into Gaya’s world. They decided to produce a collection of loungewear with versatile designs that could effortlessly transition, keeping in mind the current world situation.
Gaya is a division of Milaaya Embroideries. It was conceived to take Milaaya’s resources, sustainable production practises, and 20-year experience to the next level by launching a more holistic fashion brand that will design and manufacture its own line of luxury ready-to-wear clothing and accessories. A home-grown brand, Gaya strongly advocates and follows ethical sourcing and manufacturing process.
The brand has a global appeal as it is created in Europe, handcrafted in India, and aims to be sold worldwide.
