My mother has developed her own personal style over the years, and these pieces resonate with her that the most. Her workwear closet is inundated with classic Ritu Kumar pieces, and therefore it’s befitting to add this one to the list. She loves wearing linen for its comfort, and hence I’ve chosen the Mati and Kaveri pieces. Lastly, I’ve added a statement necklace she can wear with multiple outfits.

My mother is someone who loves to experiment with her fashion choices and has an effortless grace, allowing her to pull off various styles. She also doesn’t shy away from indulging in the latest trends (think dhoti pants and patola dupattas!) or playing around with vibrant patterns and prints. I personally love her ethnic wear wardrobe, as she strikes a balance between traditional and contemporary styles for her everyday wear. For Mother’s Day, I would love to gift her this AM:PM printed kurta set and this Ritu Kumar kurta paired with the dhoti pants. To complement the looks, I would pick up this pair of printed juttis.
