Pichwai is a style of Indian folk art that originated over 400 years ago in the town of Nathdwara near Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. Intricate & visually stunning, pichwai paintings are made on cloth and typically depict tales from Lord Krishna's life. The word Pichwai has its roots in the Sanskrit pich (behind) and wai (hanging). This beautiful art form has inspired many artists and designers over many many years. We at VarEesha, fell in love with the beautiful paintings and eanted to share them in our daily lives. Motivated by the most important parts of Shrinathji, like the lotus and the cow, we came up with Pichwai tableware, decoratives and wall hangings. Vibrant shades and neat outlines completed this lovely collection. Pichwai Art Wooden Lids Small Square Glass Jars with Tray is a part of this series that is a unique and wonderful gift for any occasion. This set has two borosilicate glass jars with wooden lids adorned with hand painted lotus motifs. Each jar measures 2.5x2.5x3 inches in lxbxh with 125 ml capacity. They come with a mango wood tray to hold them that meausres 7x4x1 inches in lxbxh.
